Hello, my turn to post after finding the Terra Trips agency on the backpacker forum thanks to this post!
We have just returned from a superb family stay (2 adults and 2 teenagers) in Egypt organized by Terra Trips.
I would like to point out that we travel either alone or with local French-speaking TOs (a habit acquired after having lived in Africa for a few years), which saves the costs of a French agency which itself uses a local TO and is less familiar with the country.
After quickly outlining our desires, Amro, who speaks and writes perfectly in French, sent us several proposals in terms of itineraries and prices which we mixed to arrive at a project that suited us and complied with our budget.
It is therefore a tailor-made program that Terra Trips offers (even if for this first trip we chose a classic itinerary).
Regarding payment, we paid 25% deposit upon booking and the balance a few days before departure via WISE.
It is also possible to pay in cash on arrival but we didn't really want to carry around with cash.
Once you arrive at Cairo airport, all you have to do is enjoy your vacation: everything is done to ensure you have no worries (perfectly organized transfers, drivers on time, great guides speaking very good French) .
Amro, who welcomed us in Cairo, checks in every day and specifies the program for the next day. He also perfectly adapted to our last minute requests (program changes to rest a little in the morning when possible because we are not early risers...).
We were lucky to have an exceptional guide throughout the southern part of Luxor/Aswan, Rabie, who, in addition to having a perfect knowledge of the history of his country and the region (he is unbeatable), is really very pleasant.
In short, a dream stay that makes us really want to come back to Egypt. We recommend Terra Trips without reservation. A big thank you to Amro for his competence and kindness.
