The organization of this trip was great from start to finish...We traveled 15 days with my husband, accompanied by a guide and a driver.
We were welcomed at Cairo airport by AMRO (responsible for the Cairo agency). Every day Amro called us to take stock of our day. From the start, we felt his kindness and his passion for his country.
We stayed at the Great Pyramid Inn. Simple but very clean hotel located opposite the pyramids.
Having breakfast and dinner on their terrace was magical.
Cairo:the Egyptian museum, the rag pickers' quarter and the Coptic quarter. The Giza plateau, the Saqquarah site and the old city.
Departure for Aswan airport, always accompanied by a correspondent.
2 nights on the ANAKAB boat located on the Elephantine Island, there we were welcomed by Mahmroud, a charming, considerate, kind, helpful host.
The room was very clean and the place was quiet with an extraordinary view. Mahmroud accompanied us to the pier and came back to pick us up. Very good stay.
Boarding for 3 days and 2 nights on a felucca. Sailing with our captain, our cook and our guide. We once again had very wonderful human encounters.

Another big thank you to our cook who prepared 3 delicious meals for us every day. Magical sunrise and sunset.
We took the road to Luxor always accompanied by our guide and another driver. The drivers were all very careful despite the very special driving of the Egyptians and comfortable car.

The Valley of the Kings and we took the road to Hurghada where we spent 4 days at Movenpick Soma Bay (far from everything but relaxing, impeccable catering. Spacious and clean room, private beach with many deckchairs, loan of beach towels.
and here we are at the airport, always accompanied by a guide and a local correspondent.
We had lunch in typical restaurants, with very good cuisine, far from the restaurants which receive cohorts of tourists.
I warmly recommend the Amro agency and its entire team.
Thanks to them, we took full advantage of this trip and all its visits.
We feel privileged, pampered.
